Starting as a field intern while still in college, Arden quickly discovered a passion for stormwater management and the environmental impact it can have on local ecosystems. What began in the field evolved into an office internship, then a full-time role as a Financial Operations Analyst, and now into a position as Marketing Coordinator at Dragonfly Pond Works. Over the past three years in the stormwater industry, Arden has developed a unique perspective on the company’s mission by experiencing multiple sides of the business firsthand.

Arden earned an Associate in Science from Cape Fear Community College before pursuing dual Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and Zoology, along with a minor in Applied Ecology. Their lifelong passion for wildlife conservation and habitat restoration continues to guide their work and purpose. For Arden, stormwater management is more than maintaining systems — it is about protecting habitats, improving water quality, and restoring balance within ecosystems.

In their current role, Arden is focused on educating the public about the importance of stormwater systems and helping communities see these spaces as both functional and beautiful. They are proud to represent a company that prioritizes environmentally responsible practices and genuinely cares about the ecosystems surrounding every project.
