Jacob Favre
Operations Manager Mowing and Turf - Triangle
“Dragonfly gave me the opportunity to build a career in an industry that constantly challenges me to learn and grow, and that’s what keeps me motivated every day.”
Jacob joined Dragonfly Pond Works in 2021 after building a diverse career rooted in environmental stewardship, research, and operational leadership. With experience in agricultural disease research and work alongside the Delaware State Parks system, he developed a strong appreciation for ecological balance and land management early in his career. Before transitioning into the aquatic industry, he spent more than a decade in commercial pest control for food manufacturing facilities, where he gained extensive experience in treatment planning, compliance, and customer service.
Starting at Dragonfly as a Mow Crew Lead, Jacob quickly established himself as a dependable leader with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. After one year leading mowing crews, he transitioned into a Maintenance Technician role, where he spent four years refining his expertise in pond and lake management. During that time, he also earned his North Carolina Aquatic Pesticide Certification, expanding his technical knowledge and ability to serve clients effectively.
Today, as Mowing Operations Supervisor, Jacob is focused on building strong teams, maintaining high standards, and continuing to grow alongside the company. He was initially drawn to Dragonfly because aquatics offered a unique and rewarding alternative to traditional pest treatment work. Looking ahead, his goal is to become the longest-serving Mowing Operations Supervisor in company history while embracing every opportunity for growth that comes his way.
