Dragonfly Pond Works is a lake, pond, and stormwater management company. We are passionate about the environment in our work and in helping local communities. Team Dragonfly completed its first Jordan Lake Cleanup of 2020. The Dragonfly Team has participated in the Clean Jordan Lake Adopt-A-Shoreline program since 2018. Dragonfly team members volunteer several times throughout the year to remove litter from our assigned shoreline. The program is designed for groups, clubs, and businesses to help keep the 180 miles of Jordan Lake shoreline clean and healthy.

Dragonfly team members remove trash, including propane canisters, during our January Jordan Lake cleanup.

During the most recent litter removal, Dragonfly collected 20 bags of trash and 59 propane canisters. There is consistently a high quantity of propane canisters littering the shoreline, primarily under the bridge pictured above. The Clean Jordan Lake program organizers report the propane canisters are used by night fishermen.
